In Truth - Are You Ready for Change?

In Truth: Are You Ready for Change?

Change is an inevitable part of life. Yet, so often, we find ourselves resisting it. If you are a little curious about your self and seeking growth and deeper understanding, it's time to ask yourself a crucial question: In truth, are you ready for change?

Understanding Resistance to Change

The language of resistance is familiar to many of us: "I don’t like change," "I fear change," and "I’d like to change but don’t know how." These phrases highlight a common struggle. They reveal our skepticism and focus on past experiences, which may have been painful or uncomfortable.

Our natural inclination is to seek comfort, feeling safe within the familiarity of our surroundings. Change disrupts this comfort, prompting a rising fear and call to action. Yet, if we observe nature, we see that change is constant, evolving continuously, and a cycle of life. Resisting it only creates unnecessary struggle

The Opportunity in Embracing Change

When we move past our resistance, allowing the flow of life to guide us, we unlock potential and opportunities for joy and happiness. Aligning ourselves with the bigger picture of universal flow, we realise that our attempts to control or minimise change are counterproductive.

When we get out of our own way - life flows, life is cheering for us to succeed and life starts to look and feel a whole lot lighter.

By reflecting on our resistance and the language we use to express it, we come to a powerful realisation: change occurs whether or not we consent to it. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by this, consider surrendering your idea of control, and who you are controlling. Consider doing things in a different way that frees you from old ways of thinking and being.

We can often recognise in others the areas we see need to change, creating a story that if only someone did something, then our life would be easier. Believing that this is how change benefits yourself, in reality we are avoiding our own call for change.

Listening to the Internal Call for Change

If you find repeating patterns of resistance in your life, that's your inner self knocking on the door, trying to capture your attention. Delving into the lessons behind this resistance can be eye-opening, perhaps with deeper revelations of trans-generational patterns.

Often, ignoring these internal cues leads to significant challenges, such as health issues, forcing us to pay attention.

But why wait for the hard knock, when you can just listen with awareness and move forward with ease. Once you understand it’s place and purpose for your own growth, moving you with guided direction, it becomes liberating and expansive.

Allowing discomfort into our lives is essential to take us to a place of thriving and being truly alive, instead of existing in a place of comfortable avoidance. Being comfortable with discomfort is learning to live with uncertainty and Allowing flow to carry us along The Way.

Embrace awareness now. Acknowledge that growth can be liberating, even if it entails discomfort. Our resistance to change serves as a slow sabotage to our healing journey. Recognising this allows us to move forward with purpose and readiness.

Contributing to a Greater Purpose

What if your growth through lessons enhances universal consciousness? Would knowing your actions ease pain and suffering for future generations motivate you to embrace change? By aligning with the energy of change, you contribute to the collective wholeness and inspire others.

Finding Commitment in Change

Everything is a choice ! Even when we chose not to act, we are enacting our choice to remain in the same situation whether it is perceived as good or bad, or right or wrong.

Choosing comfort over discomfort is logical. However, getting stuck in comfort may lead to major internal disruptions, urging us to grow. A willingness to change requires commitment—an effort to focus and invest energy and time.

Sometimes, we deceive ourselves, believing we are making progress when we're merely evading effort. This self-deception hampers our growth and healing. True transformation requires genuine commitment and action.  And why wait for a health crisis to create the opportunity for commitment to self care.  Be proactive, be conscious, be assertive, be discerning and Be You living with purpose.

Are You Ready?

So, are you ready for change? If not now, then when? This question becomes a powerful motivator, aligning us with our heart's desires. It has been my action statement for a few years and kept me accountable, to recognise that time is not a luxury I or you can take for granted.

Though change may bring different challenges, it ultimately elevates us to an awareness and understanding of self, unveiling our role in life's grand story.

Resistance is a comfort-induced indulgence—a false luxury that procrastinates our growth. Confront this mindset to experience truth and authenticity. As we train our minds to uphold our worth, value and self-love, we detach from unmet expectations and prepare for real growth.

This pathway leads us to an acceptance of what truly Is.  When we are stuck in our comfort patterns of resistance, and desire a different way of being, we are at odds with our self - out of alignment with our hearts desires and our reality.

Unfolding the stories of resistance and seeking the truth, to the best of our ability lets us arrive at a point of accepting our reality as it Is.  Accepting doesn’t mean we like, or approve of it, but it does gives us an honest moment to see clearly with clarity and from here we have choices - with every choice leading to another and so one.

Finding Peace in Letting Go

Continue to embrace the lessons within resistance. Recognise your boundaries and practice valuing yourself, knowing that letting go doesn't mean losing control but achieving peace.

Surrendering the illusion of control by letting go is empowering.

Give your self permission to change with ease, allowing others to take charge and responsibility for their own change, in their own time, accepting the reality as it Is.

Allow change to unfold naturally, welcoming the joys and opportunities it brings.

Are you ready to meet your resistance, examine its lessons, and release your attachment to it? Embrace the flow and find your light in the universal tapestry.

In truth, the journey begins with your readiness to change.
