Welcome to My first Blog!
My aim is to share thoughts and experiences while discovering curious insights about health and vitality, through the journey of seeking truth, understanding and inspiration on matters reflecting our Heart and Soul.
So who am I ? That is the ultimate and eternal question !
If you've landed on this page then you know that I am in the business of helping people find their own sense of self and purpose, using a variety of tools to explore and release what no longer serves their purpose and free their energy to Just Be!
This is close to my heart as I have been following my own curiousity about life, connections, energy and how the imbalances show up in our health story. As a nurse I was always seeking the truth and digging deeper to asking Why? (And that determination continues for my clients today.).
Asking, Why do a certain goup of people present with similar symptoms repeatedly and over time, I recognised patterns of behaviours and attitudes that were similar in patient conditions, observing their family interactions expanded my awareness as to how our conditioning, family laws, and expectations can often take us further from our heart and soul and disconnect us from our core self. And ultimately, create an imbalance within that expresses in our physiology.
That insight triggered a deep dive into my own awareness of self and put the spot light on how was I expressing myself , and was it aligned with the core of who I truly Am, and Why do I still feel like the more I learn, the less I know?
This discovery is ongoing and is the essence of life unfolding chapter by chapter. As time passes by I can see more clearly and feel less entangled with limitations of my past, as I set my self free to BE ME!
Noticing, observing and becoming aware of thoughts and feelings which create responses rather than reactions, quietens the voice of my inner critic. This space allows me to see life as a series of choices, without the weight and burden of carrying judgement defining me, as good or bad based on unconscious conditioning. The practice of grounding with meditation has been critical in shifting my perspective and opening my mind to all possibilites, and ultimately finding connection!
This image below captures a snap shot of my heart and soul, as it demonstrates my love for connection. Looking out at Rangitoto's Island, Auckland, New Zealand, brings me such a sense of peace and calm, even on an overcast gray day. I feel my heart expand as it brims with joy, love and inner peace. Ultimatley, it grounds me, my energy to earth to appreciate the wonders of nature giving effortlessly everyday, if we take a moment to notice and connect.
It's pretty simple !
